Welding of a new cable reel

Problem:

The initial question was to replace the outer profile of the cable reel as it was quite worn. However, the damage to the outer edge of the cable reel was not the only problem.

Our approach:

After disassembly we saw that many of the spokes were in very bad condition and it was decided in mutual consultation to make a new reel. The necessary measurements were taken and then converted into technical drawings. The complete cable reel was completely assembled according to these drawings and further welded in our workshop. Afterwards, the entire welding assembly was sandblasted and metallized, which provides extra protection. Finally, the reel got a paintjob as well.

Result:

The customer should not worry about the wear and tear of this new cable reel as it will last for a long time.
