Problem?

Our customer makes polyester baths (tanks) for surface treatment. These baths are made in large steel moulds. After production, the polyester piece must be removed from the mould, so the whole must be turned 180°. During this rotation, the hoist is loaded eccentrically and weighs a total of 40 tons.

Our approach?

With this data a concept was devised and further converted into technical drawings supported by the appropriate strength calculations. The different parts of steel S355 were welded together. The whole got different coatings, a lick of paint and the drive was mounted. Completely ready for delivery to the customer.

Result?

This video was made during the inspection on site at the customer. Another ingenious piece of mechanics custom-made to the wishes of our client. In addition to this tool, we have built up a wide portfolio of specialized machines and installations over the past decades that we manufacture according to customer-specific modifications.
