Dual Cross Cutter & Splicer

Problem or question of the client?

Cross cutters are machines used to rotate the fibre orientation in rubber blankets 90°. This process is required for the production of Poly V-belts and RAW Edge V-belts.

The client was looking for an upgrade of its outdated machine pool. That would enable them to guarantee a better and faster production. Finally, everything had to be adjusted for the processing of EPDM.

Our approach?

We visited the location for prospection, our team of engineers prepared customised drawings, produced, initiated and delivered the machines after a successful FAT in the presence of the client. Installation at the client is foreseen in 2019. DPG produced and developed this cross cutter entirely in its own workshop. These machines were fully adjusted to the needs of the client.

End result?

Gates now has a machine pool. The company is now able to produce more productively.
Gates is replacing its entire cross cutter capacity with the machines of DPG. In addition, De Pecker Ghent also had projects for Gates in Poland, Spain and, in the future, Mexico.
